For comparison, the temperature of molten iron is 1.535 degrees Celsius, and iron will boil at 3,000 degrees Celsius.
The distance between the earth and the sun is the perfect distance for life. If the distance of the sun is too close to the earth, then everything on the earth will evaporate and burn.
