Amazing Facts About the Sun

Giant eruption in the sun
Sun is the largest entity of our solar system, and is the center of the orbit of the 8 planets that surround it. And the planets are always circulating in the place of their orbits, and never even escape their respective circulation positions. All move regularly because of the enormous solar gravitational force.

Sun is the closest star from the earth, which has a distance of about 150,000,000 km from the earth. The current age of the sun is estimated to have reached 4.6 billion years. Whereas the sun is very hot and contains gas which is always burning. On the surface an explosion always occurs like millions of atomic bombs dropped each time. This explosion produces a giant flame which can reach 40 to 50 times larger than our earth. And of course the gas content in this sun will reach its final point.

The heat given by the sun will be very high during the summer. However, the sun has a distance of millions hundred of kilometers from the earth, and only 0.2% of its heat actually reaches to the earth. The temperature on earth can be very high, even though the sun is so far away. Then what about the temperature of the sun itself?

According to a long research from world scientists, it is estimated that the temperature on the sun's surface is in the range of 6,000 degrees Celsius, and the temperature at the outer core of the sun is 7,000,000 degrees Celsius, while the inner core of the sun is around 15,000,000 degrees Celsius. For comparison, the temperature of molten iron is 1.535 degrees Celsius, and iron will boil at 3,000 degrees Celsius.

The distance between the earth and the sun is the perfect distance for life. If the distance of the sun is too close to the earth, then everything on the earth will evaporate and burn. Planet Mercury and Venus are the two planets closest to the sun. The surface temperature of Mercury can reach 430 degrees Celsius, and the surface temperature of Venus reaches 462 degrees Celsius. While boiling water only at a temperature of 100 degrees Celsius. Likewise, if the distance is further away from the sun, then all areas will be covered with ice. That way, of course life will be impossible.

The polar regions of the earth are areas that get the least amount of heat from the sun, so they are permanently enveloped by the ice. Whereas the equator which gets more heat, is always hot and dry. However, this temperature difference between the poles and equator causes the creation of a moderate climate on the earth as a whole. And this climate supports the realization of life on the surface of the earth. That is one sign of the countless proofs of God's love for humans.
